This Pub is Permanently Closed

Friendly Shep's pub on the outskirts of Deal's town centre.

Closed: May 2020. Planning Application: 20/00814 - Change of use to residential. Granted: October 2020.

This large, friendly Shepherd Neame pub is situated on the edge of Deal, easily accessible by bus.

The pub has been re-decorated and refurbished giving the pub an airy, bright feel. The large room is divided by a large u-shaped bar from which one real ale is served.

The staff are friendly and welcoming and the landlord is concientious about the quality of his ale.

The pub hosts regular meetings of the Deal and District Motorcycle club. Pool and darts are available.

There is a large patio garden, which can be covered in inclement weather.

Events include poker nights, live music and karaoke.
