Friendly, welcoming pub with attractive outdoor seating, sunny bar/dining area and a characterful restaurant. A large car park, often home to a Classic car club, overnight motorhome parking permitted. Eggesford Station, where all Tarka Line trains stop, lies only two fairly easily walked or cycled miles away. The regular Teignworthy Reel Ale, is usually accompanied by at least one other West Country beer, while good locally sourced and home-cooked food is served.Only one beer served at quieter times.
