This Pub is Permanently Closed

Built c.1887 as a butchery and abattoir it later became a restaurant/bar with a wide range of bottled beers including some bottle-conditioned ales (‘Real ale in a Bottle'), originally Tea Rooms des Artistes. Closed early in 2014 and sold to Golfrate; now on the market as a restaurant. Website directs visitors instead to sister pub the Lost Angel in Battersea Park Road.

A planning application to demolish and replace with a residential development (combined with the former Nag's Head) was rejected late in 2015. A later one was approved.
