Built in 1843 to cater for visitors landing from Liverpool packets, this historic whitewashed corner pub has up to four cask ales on offer along with good-quality pub food. It has a small outside courtyard while inside it has a nautical theme. It is frequented by locals, students in term time and the local sailing fraternity.
