Traditional village local reputed to be over 300 years old, the present building is a mixture of old and new, originally a row of small cottages dating back to the 17th Century and reputedly one of the oldest inns in North Wales. Taken over and reopened as licensed premises in July 2022 with no draught beer or lager, but bottle-conditioned beers from local breweries are available. There is an eat in or take-away home-made food menu.
