This Pub is Permanently Closed
Originally built as the Earnshaw Bridge Inn in the 1870,s the pub was known as t he Leyalnd Tiger for many years. Situated at the corner of Golden Hill Lane and Leyland Lane it closed briefly in the late 1980's and reopened as the Hippodrome. By the time of it's closure in 1995, it was back to Leyland Tiger. The pub stood empty for several years before being demolished around 2000 and flats built on the site.
