A two hundred-year-old local community pub close to the town centre with a warm welcome to all visitors. Was called the Bee for a while; now renamed as BBQs & Brews, but still best known as the Letter B. A beer festival is held in January (Straw Bear weekend).
Under new ownership as of Oct 2022, but retaining the same expert beer keeper looking after five regularly-changing ales.
Presented with CAMRA Gold Awards in 2007 and 2011 and a Merit Award in 2024; voted Peterborough & Cambridgeshire Pub of the Year 2012; Peterborough & Cambridgeshire Cider Pub of the Year 2015 and Peterborough Cider Pub of the Year 2016, 2017.
