Historic Interest

Open from 1879, acquired by Spraggs (Higsons). The photo from 1978 shows it as a Higsons pub. Described in 1980 as an odd 19th century building surrounded by modern flats - a basic local serving Higsons Mild by handpump. Closed by 2014.
