This is a hotel, which means that the bar is only open to residents.

This 16th century manor house is set in its own grounds. Food is served daily from 1200 - 1430 and 1830 - 2130, with the restaurant open for dinner from 1900 - 2130. St. Austell Tribute is usually available here.

Sadly, the Hotel closed in April 2020 after the Hotel owners, Heritage Hotels, entered Administration in December 2019. It is believed to be up for sale.

Planning applications: there are seven planning applications due to listed building status going back to 1025/23/LBC (and earlier), the most recent being 0914/24/PR8. Most refer to re-wiring or redecoration, etc.
