This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.

Closure & conversion of the club to housing pre-dates on-line planning records but from older maps it seems that the club was larger than the remaining listed part so we surmise that most of the club was demolished following closure in 1996 and just the Category B Listed part remains converted to housing, and remaining site was used for more housing.

Historic Interest

The club is shown as being larger on 1969 maps but only the Category B Listed part remains. The house was built circa 1880 and was acquired by Royal British Legion after the 2nd World War and then enlarged. Historic Environment Scotland reference LB36383.
