Large family friendly stone built pub in its own grounds with good selection of food. Quiz night on Wednesdays. Reopened after refurbishment September 2015. The dining area has been remodelled and bar fully reupholstered.

There is outside drinking area. Two real ales

After a further closure in July 2021 it reopened in October that year.
