This Pub is Permanently Closed

Now closed due to retirement of owner (Doreen Beetham), who still lives there. Under planning law at that time if a pub is lived in for five years on this basis the conversion to residential is automatic.

Historic Interest

One of the oldest interior pubs in the area - no bar - service is at table (bell push) or at doorway of sort of servery. flagged corridors, real fires. Shame no real ale - doesn't sell.
