This Pub is Closed Long Term

THIS PUB IS LONG TERM CLOSED!

Large pub located in the middle of Swansea's High Street. It used to be open very late on several nights and was also used as a meeting venue in the cities LGBTQ scene.

It closed in 2022 and in 2023 was purchased by locally based Coastal housing Group, which is a Wales-based housing provider, which said in January 2023 it would like to turn this former gay bar in Swansea into a commercial property that would serve the local LGBTQ+ community. A listed building, it is in need of substantial upgrade works.

When seen in August 2025, the pub was still closed and no planning application had been made to Swansea City Council to redevelop the building.
