Dating back 300 years to when it was three cottages the red brick Kings Arms was rebuilt in 1904 following a fire to the original 17th Century coaching inn. The current building is full of character and caters for breakfasts and coffee in the morning to an extensive menu for lunchtimes onward through the day and evening. Community events are supported with Ladies and Mens skittle leagues. Live entertainment is featured, usually at weekends. Sports TV's are very much in evidence during the afternnons and evenings.
Local bus services are nearby including route 28 operating daily. The rail station is only 10 minutes walk away.
