This traditional pub with wooden beans, two real fires and an excellent reputation for food (booking advised) dates back to the late 1700's when it was the Overseers house. Sits majestically next to the man-made harbour constructed by the famous Delaval family. The pub is set back from the road and affords extensive views of the beautiful beach at Seaton Sluice and up the coast to Blyth. Note the WW II British submarine memorabilia to rear of pub. The five handpulled beers are from the Heineken Discovery Cask range.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers (reduced to two guest ales over winter) and 2 regular beers.
