An old coaching inn established in 1737 and formerly called the King’s Head. Refurbished 2016, it has two bars, a dining room and two letting rooms. The large public bar has low ceilings, housing darts, a pool table and quiz machines. The quiet lounge bar is comfortable and a step down leads into the restaurant area. There are many old pictures of life in Sandy throughout the years. At the rear, a large garden has ample seating and a petanque court. Sky Sports in bar area.
