This Pub is Permanently Closed

CLOSED. Now a COSTA COFFEE.

An old 16th century local ironstone pub in an imposing position at the entrance to the High Street. An extension built out of brick was added at a later date which now houses the Bed and Breakfast Rooms. The bar has been moved following a refurbishment, which has left an open-plan area interspersed with supporting pillars. Food is served lunch and evenings times. Recently reverted to its original name after being called the Oak Tree Inn.
