This delightful, mid-18th-century, Grade ll-listed, red brick and pantile pub was constructed to slake the thirsts of the navvies digging the Maud Foster drain. The internal layout has been altered over the years and now has a single bar and two snug dining rooms. The beers are on traditional stillage in the original and immaculate brick vaulted cellar. Across the drain from the pub is the working windmill. Visit them both!
This Pub serves no changing beers and 1 regular beer.
