This popular and well used local has been transformed by the current owner to become an excellent community pub doing much good work for various charities and providing a base for numerous local sports teams including Barry Town F.C.. Despite the run down area, there is a friendly welcome and the quality of the beer is held as very important.
Historic Interest
The pub was built around 1760, with a graveyard next door from the 1730s being the site of former American pilgrims.
