This Pub is Closed Long Term
The building dates from around 1850 and part of this former agricultural nursery complex was converted to a pub in 1997. This is a traditional pub with ample indoors and outdoors seating, flagstone floors and a wood burning stove. Dogs are allowed and cyclists and groups of walkers can be accommodated. Food is freshly prepared using largely local ingredients and pizza is a speciality. There is no accommodation at the pub but the adjoining lodge provides en-suite rooms. There is a delightful garden at the front and a separate dining area is being developed. The two changing ales are sourced from several local/regional breweries.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
Changing beers typically include: Hop Back (varies) , Plain Ales (varies) , Quantock - Sunraker
