This Pub is Permanently Closed

The Keepers Inn is situated on the original route of Woodhouse Lane, which is now a spur off the main road ending in a cul-de-sac at the Scot Lane canal bridge. The large, stepped lounge has the air of a gentlemen's club (especially when both open fires are lit), being surrounded on all sides by bookcases and various bits of Victoriana and canal memorabilia. The Keepers Inn hosts several teams including darts (mens and ladies), pool and dominoes; has its own angling and golf societies; and is HQ for Wigan Bulldogs ARLFC. Ideally placed for a quiet pint before or after home games at the DW Stadium, being only a 15 minute stroll across the bridge and along the towpath. Quiz night is on Wednesday, poker on Sunday evening.

Opening times: Monday-Thursday 5pm - midnight; Friday 3pm - 1am; Saturday midday-1am; Sunday midday-midnight Sun
