Formerly a gamekeepers' cottage, parts of which date back 300 years, this once basic village local has been given a fresh breath of life under its young, enthusiastic landlord and has been slowly transformed into a modern community pub. The new wood of the counter and floor make an attractive combination in the refurbished bar. The other two rooms are used for dining (except on quiz nights), where fish dishes predominate. Two fireplaces give a pleasant glow in winter. The tiny front garden is popular with cyclists, ramblers and smokers.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 2 regular beers.
