A wonderfully solid-looking stone-built pub on a prominent street corner site on the approach from Leeds, which has been a pub since the early 19th century. To the front, roadside tables allow for outdoor drinking and to the rear is a partly covered and heated seating area. Inside, the pub consists of a single room with an open real fire and
seating around the walls. Decorated in a traditional way, including pictures of Otley in bygone days. The wooden panelled bar offers a full range of handpulled cask ales.
