An impressive Wetherspoon conversion of the former Savoy cinema and named after the man who designed it. Many original features have been retained and restored including seats which fold up when you stand. From the bar area you can look up to the balcony, complete with seats and some model movie-goers in period costume. At the back, past the dart board, there is a lounge up some stairs leading to the beer garden.
Alcohol is available from 11am.
