This Pub is Permanently Closed
"The Inn" was originally built in 1898 as a railway hotel named "The George" but the train route between Attleborough & Diss never materialised. When it was bought it in the summer of 2011 it had been closed for about 12 months and was in dire need of refurbishment and alot of TLC! The owners have brought it back to life and although they have given it a contemporary facelift they have also restored and kept many of it's beautiful Victorian features. During the renovation they uncovered a small area outside that was full of junk & discarded items so it was cleared, paved & fenced & planted with clematis, vines & climbing roses perfect for long al fresco lunches. In March 2020 this pub was converted to private dwelling.
