Large imposing building built as the Seabrook Hotel in 1880 by the South Eastern Railway company. The coming of the railway gave easy access to the costal attractions unfortunately no longer as the line was closed in 1951. Renamed in 1990 and after a £12 million refurbishment in 2008 where 75 houses where constructed in the grounds. The hotel includes golf course, indoor heated swimming pool, gym and spa facilities. The Martello bar is open to guests and visitors serving food and drinks inside and to a large seating area in the former covered portico.
