This Pub is Closed Long Term

Still closed in September 2024.

Announced in March 2021 that they woud not be re-opening when Covid regulations allow.

Formerly the Bond Bar, built below the original Bond Bar which closed in the mid 70s, this pub re-introduced Real Ale in 2012. It is a downstairs bar with many different areas to sup your ales. The main entrance is on Broad Street and there is also an entrance from the Netherkirkgate where there is a separate bar, the Wee Pub, with no ale.

For some time had no ale on sale but has recently started selling a house ale which is believed to be Stewarts 80/-.
