This friendly hostelry welcomes dogs, children and well behaved people. The one room pub has a real fire, shows sport on tv, a pool table and dart board away from the bar. The outside space has been utilised to a maximum with seating that attracts large numbers in fine weather. Eight cask ales available along with keg beers, ciders, lagers, gins, wines and spirits. There are occasional events such as bands and there are often food vans outside. CAMRA members get a 10p discount and there is a 50p discount between 4 and 6pm (Monday to Friday) available to all drinkers on cask beers. The pub has won several North Notts CAMRA POTS.
