Hop Hideout is a specialist craft beer and cider shop run by by couple Jules Gray & Will.
Ithe original location was on Abbeydale Road established in 2013 (see here), but closed here in 2019, and transferred to Kommune in Angel Street in 2019 (see here), closing here Apr 2024, and then opened in their new location, Leah’s Yard in Cambridge Street in Aug 2024.
Dedicated to showcasing great breweries from Yorkshire and beyond. With over 200 beers, a quality hand-picked selection of ciders and natural, skin-contact and/or organic wines. 95% of the beers and ciders are available to drink in - all priced at the shelf end; wine is for take home only. The stock is refrigerated in store and via their cellar cold room. There are seven taps of draught beer constantly rotating - available to drink in or take away via growler fill. Some will be real ale, served via KeyKeg. In addition, a wooden cask is used to provide beers, served via gravity.
Historic Interest
Leah’s Yard is one of the last remaining ‘Little Mesters’ sites in Sheffield and has considerable historic interest.
