Hop Hideout is a specialist craft beer and cider shop originally established in November 2013 by couple Jules & Will within Sheffield’s vibrant Antiques Quarter.
In March 2019 Hop Hideout relocated to the centre of Sheffield within the innovative new food hall space, Kommune, alongside ten independent kitchens.
Dedicated to showcasing great breweries from Yorkshire and beyond. With over 200 beers, a quality hand-picked selection of ciders and natural, skin-contact and/or organic wines. 95% of the beers and ciders are available to drink in - all priced at the shelf end; wine is for take home only. The stock is 100% refrigerated in store and via their cellar cold room. There are four taps of draught beer constantly rotating - available to drink in or take away via growler fill. Some will be real ale, served via KeyKeg.
Historic Interest
Kommune is located inside part of the Grade II listed (March 2009), Castle House. Opened in 1964, this was originally a department store for the Brightside and Carbrook Co-operative Society.
