This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.

The Honiton Wine Bar is situated in the centre of the historic market town of Honiton. It is a free house, and occupies one of the earliest dwelling houses, built after the fire of 1765. Both the outside and inside have individual character with wooden beams, original exposed brick walls and real slate flooring. It has a welcoming, unique and traditional atmosphere. Good-value home-cooked food, sourced from local produce where possible, is served lunchtimes and evenings. Though a wine bar / bistro, one cask ale is always on offer.
