This Pub is Permanently Closed
Large roadside pub on the road into Cheshire, open plan but divided into three separate areas. Re-opened in April 2013, the unusual name perhaps derives from the fact that the pub had a bad reputation in its previous incarnation; real ale has been introduced for the first time in years and the new owners are affable types. There is a small games area to the right of the bar, some parking spaces in front and the two guest beers can come from a variety of breweries.
