Former Brighton Bier pub now operating as a free house. Five handpumps dispense a varied selection of cask ales sourced nationally, but always with a local ale and a dark beer. Ten fonts serve a selection of keg beers. Two real ciders, usually from Ascension. Limited but varied pub classics menu available Mon - Sat, with roasts served on Sundays. Eclectic mix of background music playing, which tends to get louder when the pub is busy. 2 Small function rooms and additional seating upstairs.
