Historic, town centre drinking establishment believed to be built on the site of a mediaeval prison, with low oak-beamed ceilings. During the shutdown 2020 - 2021 extensive improvement was carried out to the rear outdoor area including half a dozen heated pods each seating up to four.

Historic Interest

The K6-type square, red telephone kiosk outside the Harp has been Cadw Grade 11 listed since 1989 as having "group value with adjoining listed building, and in a good townscape location in the centre of the town." Of cast-iron construction to the standard design of Giles Gilbert Scott a design introduced by the GPO in 1936 probably installed after the Second World War.
