Smart village pub comprising various cosy areas all with plenty of polished traditional furniture and comfortable seating. Potted plants add greenery while a gallery of prints, pictures and photographs, many of a local nature, adorn the walls.

Re-launched as the Hare in October 2020, the pub is one of three pubs belonging to Pubs Limited set up by co-founder of the Brunning & Price chain.
