This Pub is Permanently Closed
This Grade II listed venue has the traditional feel of an English pub housed inside a building steeped in history, yet with a contemporary atmosphere. Food includes inexpensive seasonal pub-grub delights and an a la carte menu using locally sourced produce. There is a separate dining area and meals are served all day every day until 9.30pm. The warm welcome extends to visitors and locals alike and everyone is made to feel at home. The pub occupies part of the ground floor, the rest being a residential home for the elderly. Live entertainment is usually staged monthly. Dogs are welcome in the bar area.
