This Other Drinking Establishment is Closed Long Term

This is an other drinking establishment and you will be charged for entrance at all times.

An older Haggs Tavern dating back to Victorian times was likely demolished in the 1950s as part of road development near the M80. A new Haggs Tavern was built at Four Winds and it was still trading in 2016, but may have closed soon after that. It is still derelict and empty after various failed planning applications. Approval to demolish and build 12 new flats granted in 2019, but withdrawn in 2022. In 2024/25 there is a new application to demolish and build Starbucks and Macdonalds outlets - decision pending.
