Local in very pretty coastal hamlet with lively modernised public bar; two real fires, television and jukebox. The guest beers often come from from North East England and the Scottish Borders. Note the rare McLennan & Urquhart's Edinburgh Ales mirror on chimney breast. There is also a separate dining room with another real fire. Terrace at rear, a couple of tables for outdoor drinking at front, weekly quiz, clay pigeon club, golf club, and occasional live music. Not far from some of the best beaches in the country and Dunstanburgh castle across the bay.
