Historic Interest

In May 1981 it was a Tetley Keg pub, it took a long time, until 2002, before it started selling the cask Tetley Bitter. By 2012 three cask beers were available Ruddles Bitter, Timothy Taylor Landlord and a guest, but this did not last long as there was no cask beer at all by September 2013, with the pub going up for sale shortly afterwards.
