Known locally as 'The Dog', there was a change of management in June 2016. With this has come a smartening up of the interior, and the lawn, patio and smoking shelter have been made into a much more attractive area. Smokers are certainly blessed with a retreat with roof and comfy chairs! Quite spacious inside with a central bar, lounge, public bar and a games room provided with TV, darts, pool and real fire. It's unusual to have John Smith cask available as a regular beer, but it is there by public demand! Two other products are available from the Enterprise Inns portfolio which at this early stage of the landlord's tenure tend to be from national brands.
