Grade II listed pub dating back to 1830, with a contemporary styled dining area featuring high ceilings and large windows. There is a separate bar room for drinkers with a real fire. The large outdoor terrace and garden are popular with users of the South Staffs Railway Walk and the nearby Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal. Four handpumps serve two regular and two changing beers. Note that the nearest bus stop is over a mile away and all approaches to the pub are along narrow country roads with no pavements.
