This Pub is Permanently Closed

Demolished 1/9/1992, site is now road scheme 1991. Closed 1/5/1991. History: Former large street-corner Whitbread house. Lattrely this location was the southern end of what was Grey Mare Lane, but all trace has been lost under the new road layout of Alan Turing Way. Opening Times magazine June 1991 reported closed and awaiting demolition. Demolished Autumn 1992.
