This Pub is Permanently Closed
Everards owned pub in the village of Collingham. The pub consists of two rooms, the main bar showing sporting events on satellite television and a dining area. Dogs are allowed but not in the dining room.
Closed on Monday in winter.
Quite an interesting refurbishment by Home Brewery, probably in the 1950s. They chose Tudor style, which must have been rather unfashionable at that time. It retains a two-room layout at the front, with a passage and separate pool room at the back. Much of the interior Tudor-style décor survives, and displays considerable craftsmanship. Both main rooms have had some alterations, but feature beams, studded timbers and panelling; the lounge was extended at the time of remodelling. The L-shaped rear passage is particularly intact, with tiled floor, original doors with ‘Olde English’ lettering, rustic door surrounds, beams and studded timbers. There are two HOME ALES doormats in the front lobby.
