An attractive half-timbered pub overlooking the village green. The exposed beams give a cosy ambience for eating in either the restaurant or lounge areas. Once run by Tony Hancock's mother (there is a plaque commemorating that he drank here in the 1940's) it is the archetypal 'typical English pub.' There are six double rooms, so this makes a picturesque base for the visitor to explore the local attractions or even venture further afield. Beer range and Sunday afternoon opening hours may change.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 2 regular beers.
