Large, imposing pub that stands back from the main road through Kimberworth village. Following a period of closure, the pub was acquired by new owners, Stonegate and has been extensively refurbished, reopening in August 2022. The good news for lovers of real ale is the return to selling cask beer for the first time in years with two hand pumps installed. Internally the décor is generally bright with clean lines. There is ample car parking in front of the pub and a rear beer garden. There are two function rooms, and the main bar area has a number of TV screens where you can keep up to date with all the major sporting events. The aim is to recreate a traditional local pub. Food may be introduced by the new tenant shortly. Reopened by April 2024. No real ale available.
