This popular hotel dates back to 1786 and was built on the site of the older Gibb's Inn. It has hosted royalty and poet Robert Burns, in whose honour the Cronies Bar & Restaurant is named. The front bar is cosy and warm with subdued lighting. In the centre is a lounge bar with piano and at the rear a spacious restaurant. The hotel caters well for large groups - Weddings, Business Conferences etc. No Real ale here, but a good range of malt whiskies.
