The Golden Grove Inn was an alleged13th Century drovers inn (though this was disputed by Clwyd-Powys Archeological Trust) which latterly had primarily been given over to dining. Inside it was dimly lit with low beams and wonderful log fires in winter. A spacious rear garden and terrace were at the rear but no more!
