A smart country pub located in the village of Wardle in the South Pennines specialising in stylish pub grub. Food served Wednesday to Sunday and Bank Holidays. Special Theme Nights and Entertainment.. New tenants Lee and Andy took over 28 May. A local supplier sells wet fish from a van in car park every Friday. Book tables through Facebook or Phone 01706 591426. A second hand pull is now on the bar, currently serving Crafted Conservation Bear Cider, which is 'still' cider being sold by hand pump from a cask in the cellar. It is believed to be a 'badged' cider produced for the Stonegate Pub Co. More information to follow, when known.
