Glitch, Stockport

Converted 29/11/2024 to Holy Diver nightclub. Closed 21/5/2024 for conversion to music venue-cum-bar. History: Glitch was a new concept for Stockport, a games bar. Owned and conceived by Stockport serial bar owner Joseph Patten (Cracked Actor, and former Glass Spider) and partner, Amy Fletcher. There was a similar concept bar in Shoreditch, London, but it was unclear if there was a link to that London business here. The aim was to bring together people who like retro games and modern gamers, thus you found arcade classics such as Space Invaders, Galaxians and so on with more modern fare. For lovers of the silver ball, there's a pinball table too. Cocktails were the big thing here. On the bar, there's a variety of beers and ciders from Brew York including a pilsner, a rainbow sherbet sour, and a sparkling cider. Glitch opened on 9/12/2022.
