Two-storey, family-friendly town-centre Wetherspoon, downstairs bar with a mixture of tables and booths that are always busy. There is a quieter bar upstairs, and a rear patio on warmer days. Three regular and four guest ales, usually from regional or national breweries, together with a varied selection of foreign bottled beers and ciders. Value-for-money pub food, coffee and tea are served all day.
